You Can Study Engineering With Your Grade 9 Certificate At False Bay TVET College

CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Section for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, with regards to their courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are supplied at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These programs begin at NCV level two plus the minimum necessity would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

At the time the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they'd then have attained a grade 10 certification. NCV Level 3 would be grade 11 and NCV Level 4 is grade 12.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, remaining equivalent to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV degree 2 which happens to be equivalent to an NQF level 2.
